Cassandra Thorburn has spoken out about her diagnosis with a rare form of breast cancer, delivering an emotional and deeply personal message in the wake of her health battle.
Earlier this year, Thorburn revealed she had been diagnosed with rare occult breast cancer, a condition that affects a very small number of people and can be particularly difficult to detect.
In sharing her story publicly, Thorburn made clear she felt a responsibility to speak out — telling those who heard her message that she would not be the last person to face this diagnosis, urging awareness and solidarity among others who may find themselves in a similar position.
