The body of 18-year-old Lily Hooper has been found, bringing a tragic end to an eight-day search after the teenager went missing in the NSW Southern Highlands.
Hooper was last seen the previous Wednesday, prompting an extensive search operation in the region. Authorities located her remains after more than a week of searching.
The discovery ends an agonising wait for those involved in the search effort. The circumstances surrounding Hooper's death have not yet been confirmed, and investigations are expected to continue.
